Cocopah Girl Scout Troop Kicks off 2017 Cookie Sales

Cocopah's Girl Scout Troop 1323 kicked off this year's cookie sales on Saturday. Each scout has a goal of selling 144 boxes. Thirteen troop members and their leaders received their inventory of cookies outside the Cocopah Community Center and then headed for Cocopah Wild River Family Entertainment Center and the Cocopah Speedway to starting selling their stock. Proceeds go to pay for the troop's field trips and participation in various events. Each box costs $5. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts Cookie fundraiser.
