Cocopah donates money to local programs

News Releases

The Cocopah Indian Tribe continues its tradition of helping the community by donating to local programs.

The Crossroads Mission received $150 from the tribe to help with its work with the homeless. This is not the first time the mission has received funds from the tribe. The Cocopah Indian Tribal Council donates to the mission several times a year.

The Cocopah Tribe also donated $500 to the Somerton Middle School Parent Teacher League. The purpose of this group is to assist SMS with activities that include 8th grade promotion, school trips, teacher incentives and other school purchases as needed. This donation will go towards the 8th grade promotion on May 29th.
