A new exhibit at the Cocopah Museum aims to educate visitors about the history of the Colorado River. In this video, Cocopah Elder Frances Barley Evanston talks about the enduring legacy of the river and what it means to the Cocopah people. Also in this video, you'll also see how the Cocopah Cultural Resources Department and the Environmental Protection Office play a critical role in growing and harvesting the plants by the river which are integral to Cocopah cultural practices to this day.
